Revision of the Rules
We have rolled out a revised set of rules for Zombie Survival, Map Build and Discord which is clearer, more organised and more comprehensive! Many thanks to those who gave their thoughts on it. Please spend some time familiarising yourself with the revised rules, which can be found in the Tutorials & Guidelines board in the forum.
How do I see the rules?
For Zombie Survival and Map Build:
- Type /rules in the game, and you will be shown the five main rules listed from 1 to 5.
- Type /rule [number], and you will be shown more information about a particular rule in a clear, organised list.
- You will also be shown a link to a detailed explanation of the rules on the forum if you want to find out more.
For Discord:
The rules are shown in the welcome channel. There is also a link to a detailed explanation of the rules on the forum if you want to find out more.
What are the changes?
Rules that are new:
- [ZS] You may not purchase an item that imitates console messages. This follows after infection messages which have made new players think that they had revived or been privately messaged. If you have an item that currently breaches this rule, you may privately message Manager+ to have it refunded, however any items bought from this announcement onwards and breach this rule will not be refunded.
- [ZS] Tricking an only zombie into disconnecting, for example via a command that disconnects them from the game, falls under encouraging others to break rules.
Rules that were originally not stated explicitly in writing but now are:
- [Global] Do not troll.
- [Global] Do not discuss NSFW topics.
- [Global] Do not impersonate others.
- [ZS] Do not farm.
- [ZS] Do not team spleef.
- [MB] Do not make excessively large builds in public realms.
- [Discord] Do not misuse channels.
- [Discord] Do not be unpleasant in voice channels.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! We hope these rules will continue to make New Blood a warm and welcoming place for all individuals.
