What area of New Blood are you suggesting this for?
New Blood Zombie Survival
What is your suggestion and how will it work?
My suggestion is that there should be less maps but with a massive change every month or so. Every month or so, old maps would be added in while taking out most of the maps in the current cycle, with maybe the exception of a few core favorites. As for the amount, I'm not really sure what it should be, but maybe 30-60 would be good. There would still be a certain percentage of runner/hide/maze maps, but this way we will get to enjoy a much larger variety of maps from the past and present.
What are the advantages of your suggestion?
We will get to play more maps overall. It will keep things fresh so that people stay on the server longer. It will be fun adapting to the new map cycle and trying to find good hiding spots and picking favorites. It might also bring feelings of nostalgia for older players or a new, fun experience for newer players. I have seen people on the server get tired of the same maps and express that they want something fresh. Toward the end of a cycle, people will really be anticipating the next rotation. It will give players an incentive to play each month and check out the new maps that have been added in.
What are the disadvantages of your suggestion?
People might get bored of the maps at the end of a cycle before new maps come in or they could miss a certain map that was always there previously.
It might be more work and some lower quality maps could get in.
Good idea, however if this idea were to be used there would have to be a lot of communication between the staff and the community regarding which maps to add and which ones that should be taken out because if there's no communication this could have the opposite effect of what you are trying to achieve with this. I like the idea but it can be a big risk at the same time I feel like. Just my view on it though I could be completely wrong.
