Hellow everyone! I am Ninjazz and this is a guide for new players who play on mobile devices (like me).
- INTRODUCTION -
Recently I invited one of my friend to play classicube with and they agreed so I downloaded Classicube and helped them with account creation and other stuff. So when he joined a server very first I saw very messed up screen.
Screen covered with chats and huge hotbar which would make a new player easily quit classicube. As I have been playing classicube for a month now so I know all the settings so I fixed everything for him.
So the main motive of this tutorial was to help new mobile players with fix setting to make the game more playable and look better... and if the game is not playable how will a player improve?
This tutorial will be separated in 2 parts.
1 - Setting up the game.
2 - Prorun tips.
- SETTING UP THE GAME -
We will focus on these few main settings that will overall make the game look much better than what it used to look without setting it up.
Chat Settings -
Before - files.catbox.moe/kmluo5.jpg
Steps to fix this -
Click -> 3 Dots> Main Menu> Options> Chat Options> Chat scale and change it from 1 to 0.6 (thats what I use)
Hotbar, Inventory and Crosshair Scale -
Before - files.catbox.moe/bdmywd.jpg
Steps to fix this -
Click -> 3 Dots> Main Menu> Options> Gui Options then change Hotbar,Inventory, Crosshair scale from 1 to 0.6 (thats what i use)
On Screen Control -
Before - files.catbox.moe/tliv5d.jpg
You don't really need to change this but I would suggest adding a tablist option.
As it helps you to see who is online.
Steps to add/remove on screen control -
Click -> 3 Dots> Controls> On Screen Controls, Now you just have to click to remove or add a On Screen Control.
Field of view -
Before - files.catbox.moe/boufqu.jpg
For a better run you should be able to atleast have a good FOV I use 130 but I would suggest you to set fov according to your device resolution.
Steps to change fov -
Click -> 3 Dots> Main Menu> Options> Hacks Settings> Field Of View, then change it from 70 to 130 or 120.
Now your screen should look like this - files.catbox.moe/b3sw57.jpg
Joystick and Jump button Scale -
Before - files.catbox.moe/n1y34p.jpg
Yes, those are small (only mobile players will understand)
Our thumbs are too big for the default controls so yes we need to fix that as well.
Steps -
Click -> 3 Dots> Controls> Scale, then change it from 1 to 1.6 (that's what I use) you can put the value according to whatever feels comfortable.
Graphics Settings -
Steps -
Click -> 3 Dots> Main Menu> Options> Graphics Options>
1. Smooth Lightning -
This will affect your gameplay, if you dont have a good device i would suggest you to skip this and move onto next point (Shadows).
So you Turn Smooth Lightning ON and change Lightning Mode from Classic to Fancy for better graphics.
Classic - Default/Classic Smooth Lightning. (Fast)
Fancy - Light blocks casts a much wider range of light. (Slow)
Before - files.catbox.moe/00kbw6.jpg
After - files.catbox.moe/q5hs9k.jpg
2. Shadows -
This is the setting almost every prorunner has enabled.
You have to click Shadows and set it to "Circle all".
Thats it.
We are done with Part 1.
