- An accurate recreation of the CS:GO map, plus modifications for ZS
- Easy-to-block paths and risky shortcuts, greatly facilitating map control
- No secrets, encouraging constant action
- No bad font
Major gameplay changes from previous trial:
- Reduced duration from 8 minutes to 6 minutes (1 minute shorter than de_dust2_v5) for faster rounds.
- Improved balance by:
-- adding shortcuts risky for humans but not for zombies: (1) Long A–Short Stairs, (2) Outside Tunnel–Top of Mid, (3) Outside Long–Top of Mid–T Start, (4) Mid Doors–Lower Tunnel.
-- closing off most of the T Start road.
- Improved variety in tactics by adding and moving objects in several places.
Major aesthetic changes from previous trial:
- Improved textures by using colours from the CS:GO map and giving "woollen" buildings a proper stone look (thanks Brastin3).
- Improved atmosphere by adding a subtle fog.
- Improved background by removing sand walls at map boundaries.
- Updated Bombsite B aesthetics for consistency with Bombsite A.
