Hi mop, thanks for your submission. The layout of the map stands out positively to me - there are a lot of interesting pro-run map characteristics that aren't found in other maps. Most pro-run maps employ verticality through jumps whereas you've done it through stairs. The ice around the outside makes for more exciting gameplay and sacrifices vantage point for speed, and yet there isn't too much ice to make latency an issue.
As is typical of my criticism of small pro-run submissions, I feel that there could be improvement in the thematic side. More concretely, there could be a slight more diverse use of blocks, like other types of stone textures or stone bricks. It doesn't necessarily need to be colourful, but something that reflects the fact that it's a structure built many centuries ago. The temple also contrasts the horizon water block too starkly - you could perhaps have an environment around the outside, like a green landscape, forest, huts or even more smaller temples. The boundary could be enforced by gates or stone walls. And lastly, it would be great to have a magnificent sculpture of some sort at the top of the temple. Nothing that is disproportionate to the size of the temple, but something that turns eyes.
I think many players would enjoy the pro-run aspects that this map introduces, so I hope you'll resubmit!
