Hi Darky, this is a great course concept! I think the community would enjoy short, quickfire round on course maps, and this map fits right in. There are some modifications that we think you should make before we put this map on trial. In general, there should be fewer (if not zero) dead ends, and more loops and wraparounds. For example:
- The wood barrier at 93 69 92 should be removed to offer an alternative path. If you're worried about this path taking less time than the main water-based one, you can extend the length of this tunnel (in my opinion, it should take a bit longer than the water path). - The tunnel starting at 106 65 77 should be another path that leads to a junction later in the course. - The wood barrier at 95 83 59 should be removed so that it becomes a wraparound to somewhere else, perhaps a dropdown to earlier in the course.
There are probably others that I've missed, but given the shortness of the course and the fact that there's no pro-run area near the end to draw time out, these loops and wraparounds will be necessary to improve the gameplay.
5 minutes will still likely be too long, so it might need to be 4 minutes. For now we'll decline this map, but we look forward to a resubmission!
