In around an hour I will open a room on The Mole discord entitled "Table of Treats". At various times over the following 12 hours I will put various different items on the table. To claim said item you must be the first player to DM me with the words "Claim Item". You may only claim 1 item, when and what you try to claim is up to you. I will not be notifying people when a different item has been placed on the table, this includes The Mole. I wish you the very best of luck.
Time for the test. 10 questions about the actions and identity of The Mole. The player who scores lowest on the test will be eliminated and become the second victim of The Mole.
1. In "Keep the ball rolling", was The Mole one of the first four players to keep the ball rolling?
2. In "Keep the ball rolling", did The Mole break any of the challenge rules? (Deleting replies, posting too late etc etc).
3. In "Keep the ball rolling", how many times did The Mole keep the ball rolling?
4. In "Table of Treats", did The Mole take one of the first four items?
5. In "Table of Treats", did The Mole take an even numbered item? (Yes/No/Mole did not take an item)
6. In "Table of Treats", did The Mole take nothing, points, jokers or something else in this challenge?
7. How many pets does The Mole have?
8. What is The Mole's favourite food?
9. What is The Mole's favourite movie
10. Who is The Mole?
You have 24 hours to submit your answers via discord PM to me. One of you will be eliminated. Good luck.
Welcome players to your second elimination. As you may be aware by now, Frrquent has pulled out of the game and was revealed not to be The Mole. That has not stopped this elimination from occurring however. You were 9, but after this you will be only 7. Its time to begin the eliminaton:
To the eliminated player. Please do not share your test answers as that would give free info away to the remaining players.
Your next challenge will be posted some time later today.
In this challenge I'm about to send a 10 question questionnaire (I know you love them) to each of you privately. There is a strict NO CONFERRING rule. The idea of this game is to make your answers best match everyone else's. The most common answer from each of the 10 questions will be taken as the group's overall answer. For every person who gave that answer, 20 points will be added to the group pot making this challenge worth a possible 1400 points. 7 players x 10 questions x 20 points. The person who matches the most answers with the group's overall consensus will also win a special prize. Should there be a tie, our good old buddy RNG will have to sort it out.
I wish you the very best of luck. No conferring! (I expect this to be a quick challenge because of that rule)
For this challenge I sent the players this set of 10 questions:
1. Name a European country
2. Name a female singer born in the 1990s
3. Name a male singer born in the 1990s
4. Name a fruit
5. Name a vegetable
6. Name an animal you might see on a safari
7. Name a colour of the rainbow
8. Whats the best animal to have as a pet
9. Describe your host in 1 word
10. Who is The Mole
The aim of the game was to match as many answers with your fellow players as possible. 20 points is earned for each time the players matched the most popular answer. A possible total of 1400 points could be earned for this challenge and the player who matches the most answers with the majority will win a special prize. Here are the list of most popular answers:
1. UK and Germany - 3 answers each
2. Ariana Grande - 5 answers
3. Justin Bieber - 3 answers
4. Apple - 4 answers
5. Carrot - 4 answers
6. Lion - All 7 of you!
7. Purple - 3 answers
8. Cat - 5 answers
9. Puns/Punny - 3 answers
10. Feather - 4 answers
All of this means that a total of 820 points has been earned by the group. I will leave the information finding up to the players and privately inform the winning player of their prize! Next challenge is tomorrow. Good luck!
In front of me are seven envelopes, each one bears a different player's name. Inside each envelope is a different amount of points. All you as a group need to do is reach a consensus of 5 out of 7 people in deciding who should get to open an envelope. Here's the catch.
The envelope with The Mole's name on it is worth the most amount of points for the group pot. If you are able to reach a consensus, the player who you agree to allow open the envelope can do so privately. The name of the person on the envelope will remain a mystery, you will only know how many points have been earned in this challenge.
You have 24 hours in which to reach a group consensus. To reach consensus you must all DM me the name of the person you are allowing to open an envelope. You may choose yourself or nobody at all. I wish you luck in your discussions.
In the last challenge the players were able to reach consensus and allowed Trev to pick an envelope on their behalf winning a sweet 1000 points. For this next challenge I will be diving into the past. In previous editions of this forum game, the numbers "6653" became a big clue as to identifying who was The Mole, 6653 being how you would spell MOLE on a telephonic keypad. So to annoy the veterans of this game I'm going to drown them in 6653 in a couple of puzzles.
Puzzle 1
This puzzle is to be done privately by each individual player in the game with NO CONFERRING. All you have to do is DM me how many times you think "6653" appears in this grid. Same rules as the previous challenge in that 5 out of 7 of you need to agree and get the answer correct. If achieved 500 points will be added to the group pot.
Puzzle 2
For this puzzle you are able to use the discord and work together. As you can see, each number in this 6653 picture has been written using several black lines. I want the answer to the following question.
"The largest 4 digit number you can make if you move 3 lines."
You must also reach consensus as to who is to provide your answer to this as a group. Another 500 points are up for grabs with this puzzle making this challenge worth 1000 points in total. I wish you the very best of luck. You have 12 hours! *Everyone loves a 12 hour challenge*
For today's challenge our players had two relatively simple puzzles to solve, each worth 500 points. For the first challenge they were sent on a number hunt to find out how many times "6653" appeared in my fiendish little 10x10 number grid. The correct answer to this puzzle was that "6653" appeared a total of 18 times. Out of 7 players, only 2 of you got the answer correct. I have had to disqualify a third answer of 18 due to that player checking their working using a number finding tool online. Either way, the team would have failed this challenge.
For puzzle two the group had to move 3 lines from a digital readout of the number of "6653" to make it the largest 4 digit number possible and then reach consensus to trust a player to give an answer on the group's behalf. The group nominated Trev once more to give the answer. He has since done so and I can reveal the 4 digit number Trev has given me is also incorrect. Another failed challenge.
Out of a possible 1000 points for today's challenge, the group earns ZERO. Bad news for most of you as The Mole is back on top it seems. Even worse news is that the next test and elimination is tomorrow. Prepare yourself as someone else will be leaving the game.
Time for the test. 10 questions about the actions and identity of The Mole, the person who gets the fewest answers correct and knows the least will be eliminated from the game.
1. In "Majority Rules", how many times was The Mole in the majority?
2. In "Majority Rules", was The Mole one of the 3 people that said 'Purple'?
3. In "Majority Rules", was The Mole one of the 3 people that said 'Justin Bieber'?
4. In "Majority Rules", was The Mole one of the 3 people that said 'Germany'?
5. In "Popularity Contest", was The Mole one of the 5 people that reached consensus for the group?
6. In "Popularity Contest", was The Mole either the person who was allowed to open the envelope or the person whose envelope was opened?
7. In "Puzzler's Paradise", did The Mole answer puzzle 1 correctly?
8. How old is The Mole?
9. What is The Mole's favourite food?
10. Who is The Mole?
You have 24 hours in which to submit your answers to me. If you wish to play any items you have regarding this test, you must specify your intent to do so when submitting your answers. I wish you the best of luck.
To the eliminated player. Thank you for playing, please do not reveal what you put on the test as your answers. I can also reveal two things at this time. The eliminated player tied for the lowest score and was eliminated on previous test results. Also that the eliminated player was the holder of an unplayed black exemption which will no longer feature in this game.
Six of you remain to play a Mole classic, All For One. In this game you have all been tied together. In front of you lay a box. Inside that box are two items, one is the key to free yourself and the other is an exemption for the next quiz. You as a group must decide among you who is to approach the box first. Once consensus is reached that person will get to decide between 'the key' and 'the exemption'. Should they choose the key the challenge continues, should they choose the exemption the challenge is ended and lost. Should all six players release themselves through using the key, 1200 points will be added to the group pot.
There is one catch which may actually aid you in your quest for points. The first two people to be chosen to approach the box will automatically choose 'the key' so that is your chance to get rid of anybody you are sure is going to go for the exemption.
To reach consensus:
Round 1 - 6 players - 4 of you must DM me the name of the same person
Round 2 - 5 players - 4 of you must DM me the name of the same person
Round 3 - 4 Players - 3 of you must DM me the name of the same person
Round 4 - 3 players - All 3 players must DM me the name of the same person.
Round 5 - 2 players - Both of you must DM me the name of the same person.
